Hi

I've downloaded the Excel example and have successfully been able to using the Props and PropsSI functions however I have not been able to get these commands to recognise fluid name "MEG" or any percentage of it e.g. "MEG-20%". When using these fluid names I get following errors: "error: key [MEG] was not found in string_to_index_map in JSONFLuidLibrary".

REFPROP has been installed on my PC here: "C:\Program Files (x86)\REFPROP". As per the instructions here http://www.coolprop.org/v4/FluidInformation.html#refprop-fluids-and-mixtures I have copied this files to "c:\Program Files\REFPROP", which doesn't seem to have made any difference.

Can someone help?

Note the fluid properties I am chasing are Isentropic an Isothermal compressibility/Bulk modulus. I see using PropsSI I can get the Isothermal compressibility, but will have to calcualate the isentropic compressibility/bulk modulus.

My goal is to determine the these Bulk Modulus for 1.03sg being mixed with different % of MEG.

Regards
Brett

You need to prefix the name with INCOMP:: to indicate it is from the incompressible fluids

Hi,
I am using the .CoolProp Excel Addin to compute natural gas mixture properties.
¿How can I switch from AGA 8 to GERG2008?. ¿Do I need to change settings on the VisualBasic Module?

Regards

Please open a new issue for a new question in general.

I'll quickly answer here that CoolProp does not explicitly implement GERG-2008 model parameters, although the modeling framework is identical.  AGA-8 is not implemented at all.
