Spinodal line generation for a geniric substance

Hi,

I am interested in retriving the point of the spinodal line for a generic single component fluid. I was wodering if someone has already written an optimize python code or matlab code to retrive that data. Since I have to find the value on the spinodal line for several isotherms.

I would,  starting at the saturation density, use newton's method to iterate to find the density that gives dpdrho|T=0.  This is a standard rootfinding exercise.  Would be nice if someone added it to coolprop core.
