ConnectBox Raspberry Pi build available

Hi folks,

  We’ve released a software update for Raspberry Pi devices that brings the software in-line with our offering for NEO-based ConnectBoxes. While we don’t make regular RPi images, it is our intention to keep the codebase compatible so that we could make a release at any stage i.e. if we’ve not made one in a while and you’d like one, please ask. This has been lightly tested on RPi0+w, RPi3b and RPi3b+.

So far, it works great.

Only problem I have is when trying to connect to it with my cell phone when the cell phone is using mobile data. I'm using Firefox and it always tries to find it on the internet. It's easy enough to turn off the mobile data. I'm guessing it's a pretty complex issue to try force the browser to look in the right place. A DNS issue?

Do you have documentation on how to tweak the default web page? If so, where?

  Thanks for the feedback. Glad the device seems to be a fit for you.

The fallback to cellular is an ongoing problem. We’ve fixed it for a number of devices but there are still a few that exhibit this behaviour. What device do you have and what version of the operating system?

Re: doco, can you take a look at https://connectbox.technology/wp/getting-started-guide-with-your-connectbox/ and let us know if that doesn’t cover it?
