Any old laptops and Raspberry Pi's will work for this.
But. . .
You will need your concerto server set up somewhere.
It will need a static IP address or it's own domain name and then http: port(s) will need to be opened in your firewall and forwarded to it so the clients will be able to get to it from outside.
Then the process to set up the screens will be the same as it would be if they were on your local network, using the server's web-available address.
