Dear colleagues,

May I respectfully share materials from my Georgia Tech Spring 2018 class on computational creativity? http://classes.cc.gatech.edu/AY2018/cs4803cc_spring/index.html

The readings came from two volumes: Computational Creativity Research: Towards Creative Machines. Editors: Tarek Besold, Marco Schorlemmer & Alan Smaill, Atlantis Press, 2015; and Computational Creativity. Editors: Tony Veale & Amilcar Cardoso, Springer ; forthcoming.

The pedagogy was based on this paper : Margaret Ackerman, Ashok Goel, Colin Johnson, Anna Jordanous, Carlos Leon, Rafael Perez, Hannu Toivonen, and Dan Ventura. Teaching Computational Creativity. In Procs. Seventh International Conference on Computational Creativity, Atlanta, Georgia, USA, June 19-23, 2017.

The class website contains short videos of the student projects.  I believe that many of the students found Dan Venura et al.'s DARCI project especially interesting. Thank you.

Best regards,
Ashok

Thank you for sharing this, Ashok! I will be teaching a Computational Creativity grad class this Fall and having your syllabus for inspiration is so helpful.
