2025 Community Fleet Racing

Folks,

 

We haven’t quite made it into 2025 but Christmas is behind us and the days are getting longer.   At this point I usually put together our CF / Off Lake Regatta Calendar.  The question before I get started is if there is any interest left in Community Fleet racing on the GSL.   If you have any interest, please respond to this email over the next few days to let me know.

Last year me and Dwight W did LDR in Michigan. Maybe to LD. I am hoping to do that at Sac25

We also had a bomber sail for BTS but not in the fleet. Hoping next year we can rectify that.

Hey all!

Jordan White here of Selkie(Sweven's older, slower, but more beautiful cousin).  I’d love to participate in any CF races that I could as well this coming season.  Hopeful that as an MYC prospective member, I may find a spot at the club soon.  I just find many of my Saturdays to be booked up too quickly in the season with other things…  I’ve gotta prioritize it seems!  But I love to see the fleet out there and can’t wait to join with Selkie!  Thanks for keeping it going and I look forward to joining in when I can!

There will be a BTS this year on this coming Saturday, 9/6.   Attached is the NoR.  

 

At this time, I believe there are (8) boats confirmed to sail the race.    It is shaping up for a nice day to sail with some decent wind forecasted.   Who else is in?

Is the back to school race happening this year? I saw a flyer up at the club but didn't see an email go out. Would love to race before Monday's haul out. Might be a little wet but some good wind!
