Hi, all.

Come hang out Monday from 6:30-8:30 and learn some tips on commuting in winter (spoiler alert: you don't have to ride every day!) and staying safe and visible. More info below:

Winter Workshop Series*
->Cold-Weather Commuting - 12/5
->Deraileur Basics - 01/30
->Braking Basics - 02/27

We're running a series of workshops this winter focused on hands-on learning opportunities for seasonally relevant skills and maintenance basics. Workshops will run from 6:30-8:30 on their respective dates. You don't need to sign up, but feel free to let us know if there is something specific you'd like to learn.

 Riding at night and in cold, snowy conditions is completely possible, and can even be enjoyable, with the right preparation and gear(s).

Join Common Cycle for a workshop on staying warm, being seen, and staying upright when cycling in winter weather. We'll have examples of bikes, clothing, and other gear frequently used for riding and commuting in the conditions you'll encounter over the coming months.

Hi, David (and all others interested).

The winter commuting & visibility workshop is being held at the Common Cycle workspace at 416 W Huron St, 48103. It's a gray industrial building on the north side of Huron just west of the Delonis Center and just east of the Ann Arbor School of Yoga.

We may not have the large bay door open due to the weather, but folks can get in by ringing our doorbell near the standard-sized door just to the left the large bay door.

(Note: The current doorbell is a slightly newer unit than that pictured, but is located in the same spot to the right of the doorway just next to the large garage door.)
