Columbia Ultimate Pickup ON 10/7/25 @ Patuxent Valley Middle School

Columbia Ultimate Pickup is ON today, October 7th, starting at 5:30 on the fields at PATUXENT VALLEY MIDDLE SCHOOL. We’ll be at the close field by the parking lot. Please remember to bring a WHITE and a DARK shirt as well as plenty of water.

I’m going to be stuck at work today, so it would be wonderful if someone could bring cones and set the field.

Also, reminder that the end of the year Hat Tournament is Sunday October 26th, at the Patuxent Valley Middle School fields. Registration starts at 11, games start at noon.

Hey! I just started playing collegiate ultimate again for UMBC and I wanted to start making it out to these pickup games to get back into shape. I have classes on tuesdays until 5:15 though, so probably wouldn’t be able to make it until about 6 on those days. Thursdays I definitely cannot make due to a late lecture - just wanted to make sure there were no issues with showing up late? I also mentioned the hat tournament to some of my college teammates to try to get some of them to come.

Show up whenever you can! We have a number of people who show up later.

The only thing to be aware of is that the fields we play on currently do not have lights, so we only play as long as we have enough light. That means last point before 7pm.

At some point in early November, we’ll switch to our “offseason” mode, where we’ll change fields to Johns Hopkins APL softball, which have lights, with play starting around 6 or 6:30.
