We haven't met in a while. There seems to be some interest in reviewing basics, and especially insurance. We may have some good news on that front.

The good news, in short, is that cohousings all around the country are having good luck with Progressive Insurance. 

I am planning to put some notes and the recording in our shared document, and send it out to everyone on our list. I think that will happen before I leave in two days... but maybe not.

Hello folks - It's been a while since I've been on one of our calls - but I still reach out for help.

Here at Bay State Cohousing in Boston we are getting serious about car share again.  (We've had other fish to fry for a couple of years.)

We are wondering if anyone has a formal car share running with HOA owned cars?  (corporate insurance with specifically ID drivers vs private/personal insurance)

We are looking at starting with 2 (maybe three) donated cars and if anyone is doing this now (here in the US) knowing who is writing your insurance coverage would be very useful (as well as any issues you are encountering.)

It's nice to know you are moving forward on carsharing.

I too have been absent from our carsharing group, but was planning to get back to some organizing this fall. We recently had a forming cohousing join us from the UK, Heartwood in East Sussex (welcome, Sandra!). They may need our help.

I would be happy to talk with you about your questions. I could also discuss my slide deck with a small group via Zoom, or even make a presentation to your community.
