Prevent scrolling while panning/zooming charts

What is the correct layout to achieve this? Currently when I try to pan around on a specific chart, the form scrolls, which I don't want.

I would suggest placing the chat in the center of a BorderLayout form. Borderlayout implicitly disables scrolling.

You can also invoke setScrollable(false) on the form/content pane.
