ComboBox selectionChanged called multiple times?

If I select something from a combbox box then first call to selectionChanged is right but then there are additional automatic calls that select the wrong answer, why would this happen ?

ie, it gets called once when I just tap it to get options up, and then 3 times when i tap an option.

I suggest using the ActionListener. The selection listener is inherited from list and is meant for key navigation/animation.
