Playing video crashes ios

I built an app and last week it was working perfect,  I rebuilt it on the server yesterday and now it crashes when I play a video (MediaPlayer). This only happens on iOS, and it simply exits the program. Im pretty sure this same code has worked in many of my other apps, did something change recently with regards to video playing ? It still works properly on Android, just tested a new build.

That might be a regression due to this fix https://github.com/codenameone/CodenameOne/commit/d7127b9385a52658c5c7876550a11620f9859e96#diff-45cbac8739a96036fdbda19c1a29350f

Can you please file an issue and reference this discussion. I understand Steve is already looking into this.

Hi Gareth,

Please file an issue in the issue tracker.  The information provided here isn't sufficient for me to track down this issue as I can't seem to reproduce it.  Please provide additional information in your issue that will help me to track it down.  Ideally a test case, but also let me know the iOS device and version you used to produce this issue.

Can I invite you to  a github repos that demonstrates it, the program is not entirely a self contained testbed but its damn simple.

Dont know why but my issue was removed from the tracker. Or I cant see it there anyway, the crash is now fixed by steves changes, but the video no longer appears! I can hear it playing but not see it.
