ComboxBox colour

Once again im struggling with combobox, Ive tried everything to make the text white (both for the combobox before tapped and when tapped), but it is ALWAYS black, is this hardcoded or something? Other things will change colour but that text never will as far as I can see.

Did you disable the theme constant for separate renderers?

probably not, and I kick myself because I know we have done this dance before, I made them sing beautifuly my comboboxes!,, disable theme constant I dont know I will google it but if you could elabroate just slightly I would be grateful.
