If you are experiencing an issue please mention the full platform your issue applies to:
IDE: Eclipse
Desktop OS X

Everytime I try to open Codename One settings it complains of the missing codenameone_settings.properties at the location where the file indeed exists.  The path to the file contains spaces the CN1 although converting the spaces to "%20" but I guess failing to parse them.

Other CN1 projects without spaces successfully opening the settings, so I guess the file name with spaces probably causing the issue.

I do not wish to change the file path.

We'll look into that. Please file an issue: https://www.codenameone.com/blog/issue-submission-guideline.html

The Codename One Settings is a new feature that was just launched. You can still use the old IDE native preferences UI at this time.

I don't think he filed an issue and it slipped my mind with all of the tasks. Notice that the old preferences still exist as a workaround.
