Is there anything I'd need to be aware of (apart from form factor) when using CN1 to develop an app for an Android watch ?

Actually Android Wear isn't really a device in the sense of phones. An APK won't install there, you install it on the phone and it sends data or auxiliary to the watch.

But I don't think it will run with regular Codename One code.
