Dear Sir,

I am using Intellij for codename one plugin. When I was using codenameone_settings.properities to change the settings which is fine. However, when I use "Codename One Preference" tools to change the settings, after I save, the error "unmappable character for encoding windows-1252" always come out when i build.

Please advice.

Thanks and Regards,
Ronald

Hi,
did you create the project recently?
This should fix it http://stackoverflow.com/questions/37713504/how-do-i-specify-a-degree-character-u00b0-in-a-label/37716639#37716639
It should be utf-8 by default though...

I can find out it is due to the chinese characters issue. When i deleted all chinese wordings in my code scripts (comment) the errors are gone. You may check it out or do it now no other characters allow for cn1 build?

Thanks,

It's due to incorrect file encoding. I suggest reading the link I gave.
