I haven't used CN1 for ages and have a client come back from the dead.

I'm using Netbeans 12, OpenJDK 15. Installed CN1 plugin from the Plugins dialog.

When load the old CN1 project into Netbeans, it doesn't seem to be known as a CN1 project.

Last time I used it was with NB8 and JDK 8.

Anything simple I need to do ?

The problem is that the CN1 plugin is not being installed. It looks like it goes through, but when NB restarts, the plugin is not there. Any ideas ?

Further to this, after the installation unpacks the .nbm file, in ~/.netbeans/12.2/modules

I'm thinking this has something to do with pack2000 being removed from the JDK: https://openjdk.java.net/jeps/367

OK, fixed. Downloaded OpenJDK-13.0.2, the last release with pack200 and CN1 plugin installs fine. Restarted NB with JDK path to OpenJDK-15 and all good.

We still only support JDK 11 at the latest. Pack200 was removed in newer JDKs but NetBeans plugins still rely on that.
