Is CodenameOne secretly sending device data to India?

I received the following e-mail from one or my users:

Hello,

Why are u accessing my app list and sending it to India..? Why isn't that a permission option? I will also be contacting Google.

I am not doing anything of the kind, are you?

I have asked for more information from the user, how they determined this etc. I will update as I get more information.

Hi,
our servers are in the states so no.
On first install by default we send a counting request to our servers with anonymous info. You can disable that with the build hints.

One of the libraries you use might be doing that without our knowledge though. You can connect the device to the internet via a proxy and then install/launch the app and sniff the exact connections.
