Help needed on ANDROID: Native Maps and Virtual keyboard

Shai: i have one container with a textbox and a mapcontainer (native). everything works fine until i want to introduce text to search a place and then appears the virtual keyboard and the map becomes black.

its a bug or im doing something wrong?

When you build for device it is always up to date. That might mean we have a problem, I assigned the thread to Steve to get feedback from him

Is there an issue associated with this?
Steve was on vacation for a major part of October so I'm sure his email box is overflowing with stuff. If there is an organized issue it can eventually penetrate that clutter.

I'm aware of that. Steve was on vacation for most of October so it probably flew under the radar. I suggest filing an issue.

I can't seem to reproduce this issue.  I have a few apps using Google maps, with text boxes, and they all seem to be working fine for me on Android.  Please file an issue in the issue tracker with a test case, and I'll look at it.
