Location Simulation

Any chance the details can be saved?  I need to test behaviour when the app starts and location is turned off, also its a pain to keep putting the location in in order to test in the right place.

Network status saves between runs in the simulator.  Would be great if location simulation did too.

are there any bug on the location simulation, I can't see the map and can't save the location.

On previous versions of codenameone on this screen appeared a map and I could save the location, now when I close the simulator I missed the position and appears an old position (who was inserted few months ago).

Hi,

the map was disabled a while back because of google imposed limits to usage of its API keys. In the past you could create a free maps API key but this is no longer the case. You need billing in the project and could be charged. Because of the nature of the project the key needs to be exposed which puts our billing at risk. We might re-introduce this feature with a free map provider if one becomes available.

you can install a Map Server and use your own installation of the OpenStreet Map.

Migrating the code to OSM is possible even without a server but no one did it and we're flooded with other tasks.
