Is Swift supported yet for writing native code? Looks so much nicer than objc

You can package swift code into a static library and use that.
One of the problems with moving to swift is the ARC requirement. We tried using ARC in the new VM but it caused serious crashes. I'd love to add support for that but not sure if it's feasible.

Wow, awesome, not sure about ARC I will need to read about it. Is there any documents on using swift? Steve should write a blog entry for it :-)

That's not a priority in any way. The idea is to write less native code not more.

Haha of course but I am finding new functionality daily that isnt supported (mostly useless junk from FB and google play services about analytics specifics) and OBJC makes me cry like a baby :-) Swift looks SANE.. to us java guys :)
