Hi,
where do you store the image?
Its best to place it in the file system storage home directory.

If you only share the text without the image does that work?

Hi,

When only, text the text doesn't show up. This happens when sharing through the Facebook App on the phone only.
And there is a difference, if the google play service is different version. In the older version nothing appears.
Newer version only image appear, no text.

Regards
Wick

Hi,
I came across this too, but couldn't make the FB share both text & image, it seems like a FB bug/behavior - https://developers.facebook.com/x/bugs/332619626816423/

HI.

I am experiencing this with Whatsapp too. Are there any workarounds?

This is a thread from 5 years ago. I suggest opening a new one and describing the symptoms. I doubt there is much we can do as we just invoke an intent. If the app chooses to ignore some of the data we pass that's not something we can necessarily fix.
