I run my apps on an iPhone 5s running iOS 8.3. The default text of my app looks smaller than the standard typeface. Do I need to use a special theme to access the actual standard iOS font size?

Also, will the same solution work on iOS 9 too?

Thank you!

Which font did you use?
Medium native:MainThin font should look pretty close to the native iOS typeface in terms of size. You can also size things in millimeters which is what we do more in recent years as it makes the most sense.

You can check out font customization in the developer guide: https://www.codenameone.com/manual/theme-basics.html

It should look the same across all iOS versions post 7.0.

When using mm for fonts, do you have a recommendation for the mm equivalent of Large, Medium and Small font settings that might work well across devices ?

It very much depends on the look of your app. 2-2.5 is relatively small, 7mm is pretty big although you can go bigger. Just play with the sizes until it looks reasonable with your design and font weight.
