urlopen error Tunnel connection failed: 407 Proxy Authorization Required

HI 

When i am try to run the test in my local machine , i am getting below error. 

URLError: <urlopen error Tunnel connection failed: 407 Proxy Authorization Required>

 

[2015-08-04 14:58:35,233 ERROR root] Exception: <urlopen error Tunnel connection failed: 407 Proxy Authorization Required>

But if i try continuously for 3 to 4 times then it is working , please let me know whether i have to provide any proxy setting in PYTHON conf files .

FYI.. i already provide proxy authenaction in YML file as well as in JMeter script.

I am attaching the BZt log file for more info.

Hi,

If you have specified proxy settings right, there should be a message in the log "Using proxy settings". There is no such message in the logs you shown. Maybe you have placed proxy settings into wrong section of the config. Post here effective.yml file, please.

So you have specified proxy settings for JMeter but not for Taurus itself. Please refer to this doc piece: http://gettaurus.org/docs/ConfigSyntax/#Top-Level-Settings

Specify proxy settings under the "settings" section and try again, this should help. Use log message I mentioned to tell if the setting had effect.

Hi Andrey,

Still i am getting same errors and i updated my YML file

settings:

  aggregator: consolidator

  default-executor: jmeter

  check-interval: 1

  proxy:  # custom proxy settings

     address: http://proxy.proxysherwin.com:80

     username: vsm754

     password: ********

Please suggest me, what is the max thread we can use in one machien if we have 16GB memory in that i allocated 6GB to JVM

And i am attaching BZT log file also
