Does the NYC Cocoaheads still exist? If so, who owns it? Do we now need permission to pos?

I tried to post a question to the group (using cocoaheadsnyc) and it bounced (maybe I forgot how to do this - it’s been a long time)

Technically, CocoaHeadsNYC still exists.

I still host cocoaheadsnyc.org, and we are still the official NYC chapter of CocoaHeads: <http://cocoaheads.org/us/NewYorkNewYork/index.html>. I am still one of the owners of this Google Group.

I hope you're all well. I think all you old-timers who are still in the area should get together and catch up.

I’m not an old-timer, but I’d love to get together! I moved to NYC from Chicago right after going to my first CocoaHeads meeting in Chicago, which is why I joined this group’s mailing list. This is all to say that I’m in!

That said, it's been a long time, and I don't know what people are busy with these days, or what the face-to-face gathering situation is in NYC.

I moved to Boston in 2019 but still consider myself an honorary CocoaHeadsNYC'er.

I don't know what the face-to-face situation is like in NYC these days.  If I'm ever in town I'll ping this group and see who is around and up for a burger with appropriate precautions.
