Are RFCs still supposed to go through final comment period?

The paragraph about final comment period was removed from the RFC readme when the process was revamped at the beginning of this year. But it seems some RFCs are still being submitted through FCP!


What's the official word here?

There is no need for the FCP anymore. We weren't getting any comments there anyways.
