Colorado Field Ornithologists last Speaker Series presentation this winter is a timely one - Sandhill Cranes!
Did you know there is a population of Greater Sandhill Cranes that breed in Colorado? Erin Gelling, the Executive Director of the Colorado Crane Conservation Coalition (CCCC) will give some background information about cranes in Northwest Colorado, as well as some of CCCC's programs that help to conserve cranes in that part of the state, including their Crane Nest Camera and Crops for Cranes program.
