Hi all


The field trip I led this weekend (Saturday) totaled 49 species at the four lakes/reservoirs.  Highlights were:

  • Snow Goose (Woods Lake, Crom Lake)
  • Horned and Eared Grebe (Fossil Creek Reservoir)
  • Herring Gull (Windsor Lake)
  • Great-tailed Grackle (Woods Lake)
  • Bald Eagle (Windsor Lake, Nunn)
  • Sharp-shinned Hawk (Windsor near King Sooper traffic light)

Sunday in and around Briggsdale-area I had:

  • Rough-legged Hawk - 7
  • Red-tailed Hawk - 2
  • Ferruginous Hawk - 2
  • Northern Harrier - 2
  • Mountain Bluebird - 7

Forgot the six Sandhill Cranes this morning at Wellington SWA.
