On a late afternoon walk at deKoevend Park in Centennial, I encountered a Prairie Falcon feeding then preening from atop a transmission tower. This is only my second Prairie Falcon sighting in Centennial. The other was also on a transmission tower, near Willow Spring Open Space, in December 2018. (A birder reported a Prairie Falcon at Willow Spring on 12/30/2022.)

In a very active flock of juncos and towhees was at least one and possibly two White-throated Sparrows. There seemed to be calls from multiple birds at once. The birds were moving along the canal trail into a neighborhood.

This morning, in my yard, were three Cassin's Finches (all female / immature types, though an adult male visited a day or so ago) and one White-throated Sparrow.

I'm left wondering how much these birds move around the area. This winter, I've seen White-throated Sparrows in two locations that are both within a mile from my house. Are there three White-throated Sparrows in close proximity or are the sparrows moving around that much? Same for the Cassin's Finches.
