We saw approx. 20 Sharp-tailed Grouse with at least 6-8 displaying males between 6:30 - 7:00 am this morning (4/11). Location was exactly as described in Hugh Kingery's book. Birds were very close to the road and not bothered by cars speeding along CR 27. Got great looks as several males stood up on the fence posts after displaying.
