Been looking more closely at this and noticed that it does not have to be done on a county basis? Is that correct?

I will have limited time this year with my daughters graduation pending but exploring options. Thanks.

If you're up for non-competing category, you can pretty much bird however you want!  If you want to compete, I think most of those categories ask that you specify a county to stick with (although that certainly doesn't mean you have to cover the whole county).

“I wish it need not have happened in my time,” said Frodo. “So do I,” said Gandalf, “and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.”

John and others, the competition is county based, but non-competing teams (including individuals) do not have any rules, not even the date (although donations must be received by May 15).  More info at Cobirds.org/CoBC-details/.

If there is a way to participate, please do. The Gunnison Sage-grouse need all of us to stand up against cheat grass invasion in the Gunnison Basin. We will need a lot more signups and donations to reach our goal of $50,000. We are currently just over $10K.

Thanks,
