This morning re-found the Painted Redstart and found a Black-throated Blue Warbler across the creek from the Picnic Shelter, yes I got my feet wet but a great bird to see.
also a Brown Thrasher in the grove in the south eastern corner, Eastern Screech Owl yelled at me from the Big Cottonwood tree in the back where the BTBW was foraging.
Decided to drive CR 96 through the middle of the Grasslands and was treated to Horned Larks and some McCown's Longspurs eating gravel!
