Bald Eagle- 1 im. along S. Platte River near Lake George on 4-5, report of 1 adult in Divide on 4-19

Golden Eagle- Near Lake George on 4-27

Sharp-shinned Hawk- Adult female on Highline Canal Trial in Englewood on 4-1, Mount Herman Trail near Monument on 4-29

Northern Goshawk- Report of 1 adult on 4-18 in Divide, hunting Mourning Dove

Dusky Grouse- Fresh droppings along Balanced Rock Rd. W of Monument on 4-22

Wild Turkey- one along Balanced Rock Rd. W of Monument on 4-22

Chukar- In mid April the Chukar reported in a Woodland Park neighborhood in late March was still hanging around, likely an escapee.

Dark-eyed Junco- Slate-colored and Oregon last seen on 4-20, Pink-sided last seen on 4-28. Gray-headed high count 40+ during snow storm on 4-20.
Pink-sided singing on Highline Canal Trial in Englewood on 4-1, flock of about 10 at Green Mountain Falls Lake (7800 feet elevation) mostly Slate-colored with a few Pink-sided and Oregon, singing at Parent’s house in Englewood on 4-29, Courtship behavior on 4-29, Gray-headed,  on Mount Herman Trail, grasping each others feet and fluttering through the air together
