"Warming of our
atmosphere due to increasing CO2 concentration was anticipated more than
150 years ago. Professor Randall Boone, CSU, will address the nature of
greenhouse gases and the means that they warm the atmosphere and review
observed and anticipated changes from our changing climate. He will
describe some changes seen in bird geographic ranges, the timing of
events in their life histories, and ways that bird species may interact
in a changing climate. Prof. Boone will briefly describe the scope of
changes needed to reduce emissions, for which he remains optimistic."
