Sounds intriguing. BUT - nowhere can I figure out where to find 'Pelican Point.'
Could someone please enlighten me.

Check out https://cpw.state.co.us/placestogo/parks/CherryCreek/Documents/CherryCreekAreaBrochure.pdf .   Pelican Point is on the east side.  There will be a sign as you drive around the body of water.  Don't do what I do and mistake Pelican Bay for Pelican Point.  They are on opposite sides.
