Sad News from Barr Lake, Adams County

I learned last night that the tree that was holding the Bald Eagle Nest at Barr Lake fell. The nest was destroyed and the eaglets died. Park Rangers hope to put the basket up in another tree later this summer.

Such things happen naturally in nature, but still it's sad.
