Greetings, all,
This morning at Sondermann, Patricia Henschen and I spotted a Nashville Warbler (seen since yesterday), Wilson's Warbler, Orange-crowned Warbler, Yellow-rumped Warbler, and one unidentifiable warbler. These flew between the cottonwoods, lilacs and crabapples just after the first bridge. In addition, both a juvenile and an adult Cooper's Hawk flew overhead several times, and one Blue-gray Gnatcatcher posed for us. An American Robin was seen building its nest. Overall, we counted 26 species.
Good news. The warblers seemingly aren't bothered by the numerous groups of schoolchildren that arrive around 9:45.
