Sagebrush Sparrow, JEFFERSON COUNTY

Hello all,

I believe this is a Sagebrush Sparrow. I walked out from Kingfisher parking lot on the west side of the Delta. I was past that sandbar, viewing the ducks (who all flew off when fishermen appeared on the further sandbar), and saw this little guy staying close to a pile of brush.

Let me know if I'm incorrect.

Yes, these are wonderful pictures of a Sagebrush Sparrow! Nice find :)

Hi, Rosanne - this would be a lifer for us! Were you north or south of the road through Chatfield? I think there are parking lots on both sides...
