Cooled off today, which was nice, but it was windy, was was not.  Several nets opened, then closed during the morning as the wind moved around.  Relatively quiet day again, with only 20 new birds caught:

Least Flycatcher 1
Hammond's Flycatcher 1
Dusky Flycatcher 1
House Wren 1 new, 1 banded 2021
Ruby-crowned Kinglet 1 (FOS)
Gray Catbird 1
Common Yellowthroat 1
Wilson's Warbler 10
Chipping Sparrow 1
Brewer's Sparrow 1

Hoping that it doesn't rain on the Barr Bird Festival tomorrow!

If you'd like to enjoy fall birds up close and personal, please come visit!  Click here to make a reservation - we are offering one-hour slots (up to 15 visitors at a time) from 7:30-8:30 most weekdays (closed Mondays), and 8-9, 9-10, and 10-11 on weekends.  (Please note that this Saturday is the Birding Festival; there will be opportunities to visit the banding station as part of the event, but you cannot reserve ahead this one day.)

We look forward to seeing many of you during the season!
