My last one here (Aurora) was Friday Oct 4, but my feeder is still up and the level is slightly further down. I will keep it up until taking it down temporarily during Thursday's "deep" freeze.

I guess I'll see you and raise you one! Yesterday we had one female broad-tail, today we have two. Both are only visiting flowering plants in the yard, neither has been to the feeder, at least not that I've seen. And of course, if they get within eyesight range, they chase each other mercilessly.

There are still one or two around our yard and I haven't seen them at the feeders either.

We had one female broad-tail this morning at the feeder but haven't seen it again today. Had one yesterday, too, and two on Oct. 6.

We just had an immature male broad-tailed at our feeder at 4:50 pm.  The last one we saw before this was two days ago.  We will be leaving the feeder out for a couple more weeks probably, bringing it in only when it's freezing.  Hurry Spring!  : )

We have three today. Temp was 22 at 6:30 a.m. They're coming every 20-30 minutes and not chasing one another. Two feeders close to house are still hanging, but the birds are hitting only one, which is a mix of 1:2.5. We have defrosted the feeders when necessary.

We have 3 hummers right now.  All sharing the single feeder.  Think I'll be swapping out cold sugar water for warm all night.  Maybe they will roost under the overhang of the front porch.  Could be warmer.

Today we had 1 BTHU and 1 RUHU.
I hope the 3rd one from yesterday also survived.

OK, I was wondering, because I saw one two days ago, but none since.  And, as I recall, it was a rufous.  Thanks, Ira, Brenda

We had three stragglers on multiple visits two days ago, two yesterday, including a calliope, and one this morning. Haven't seen any since 8 a.m. We did see our first returning Junco, a lone pink-sided, mixed in with the numerous chipping and white-crowned sparrows.

After a couple of days of seeming nothingness, my feeder fluid levels dropped like a rock yesterday and today...but I wasn't home enough to check for birds.  Will check tomorrow.
