Today we found several migrants in the town of Penrose, Fremont County. The best bird was a female Baltimore Oriole that we found along K Street between 4th Street and 5th Street in Penrose. She had bright yellow-orange underparts where a Bullock's would have been gray.

A female/immature MacGillivray's Warbler visited our yard in Penrose this morning and stayed through the afternoon. Dale also found a juvenile sapsucker in a cottonwood about 4th Street and I Street this afternoon. We couldn't be sure whether it was a Red-naped or Yellow-bellied Sapsucker, because it possibly could be a Red-naped who is late to molt. It looked like it was in complete juvenile plumage. Do you think a Red-naped should have started to molt yet?
