A female/immature MacGillivray's Warbler visited our yard in Penrose this morning and stayed through the afternoon. Dale also found a juvenile sapsucker in a cottonwood about 4th Street and I Street this afternoon. We couldn't be sure whether it was a Red-naped or Yellow-bellied Sapsucker, because it possibly could be a Red-naped who is late to molt. It looked like it was in complete juvenile plumage. Do you think a Red-naped should have started to molt yet?
