On my way home I quickly looked at Marston Reservoir from the east side only, [Bow Mar Dr.]

Lot's of birds have left [species and numbers]. Many of the Gulls have left but some remain. I had a nice look at 3, Common Loons. Two were in alternate plumage and the other one was mostly in basic plumage. I counted 18 Western Grebes. There could have been a Clark's, but they were too far out to tell. Your common Puddle Ducks were present along with Ring-billed Gulls and 2, American White Pelican.

Happy Birding !

After reading Chris's post I checked out the lake tonight from the east side [Bow Mar Dr].  I saw 5 Marbled Godwits at the NE corner. There were 16, Horned Grebes, 18, Western Grebes, 12, Lesser Scaup, many  Northern Shoveler, Gadwall, and Green-winged Teal. California Gulls were copulating as Franklin's Gulls flew north of them. I'm not sure what was on the western side of the lake since I did not visit that area.
