Western Screech Owl banding on Grand Junction

We had our annual WESO public banding day last Saturday. We recaptured one mother owl for the third time. She was banded initially in 2017! We had a recapture at another location as well. Both owls have remained in the same neighborhood to breed, and likely for the rest of their lives as well.
