Lazuli Bunting, Larimer foothills

First of the year arrived this morning just a few moments ago in my yard at Horsetooth Lake Estates a few miles west of Fort Collins. Also newly arrived in the foothills today were several lesser goldfinches and blue-gray gnatcatchers on their usual breeding territories.
