All:

Just got back from a drive around Union Reservoir here in Longmont, had to get out of the house after being a hermit the last few days during this difficult time.  Saw 21 Sandhill Cranes flying north over Union, hearing that distinctive call sure gets the excitement meter pegged in abut 5 milliseconds!  Had a lone American Avocet on the north shore hanging out with some Shovelers, and  a very bright yellow and chatty Meadowlark singing his song to the ladies.

Stay safe and healthy and happy birding!

Not Colorado but Sandhills. Saw 4 in a field outside of Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho on Feb 29. Thought that was a tad early for that far north.
