Yesterday Feb. 22 at 8am, three Sandhill Cranes flew over Barr Lake, making their characteristic call.  I notice that several people reported 3 flying over on Feb. 2, but none since then. I wonder if they are the same cranes or just a coincidence?

Good sighting.
Also at Barr Lake yesterday are the continuing white pelicans and one red-breasted merganser seen from the banding station area.
