One highlight I forgot to mention at Windsor Lake this afternoon was approximately 30 Snow Geese in with all the Cacklers.

Of course, the correct first name of the Tundra Swan finder at Timnath Res is Cole (misspelled in my other posting).  Thank you to Cole and Josh for their finds.

Did a lap of Windsor Lake this morning with Barb Jones who lives in Windsor and considers it her patch.  The continuing Red-necked Grebe found yesterday was a lifer for her, and something she couldn't enjoy properly without access to a scope.  Thus, my return today.

Other highlights included even more than the 2500 Cackling Geese reported yesterday.  Today I didn't really do any kind of careful count but would guess the number close to double yesterday's.

Greater Scaup (1 female)

Snow Goose (38)
Hybrid Goose (2, probably Snow X Cackling)
Bonaparte's Gull (6, maybe a few more)
Double-crested Cormorant (10, all young birds)
White Pelican (2, maybe 3, one with fish hook in its chin)
Red-breasted Merganser (6)
