3:19 Ani is on south side in thicket 5-8 ft. Upstream from Westerly Creek Bridge.  Across from all the backhoe activities.

Can anyone tell myself and Dale Peterson where the westerly creek  bridge is? Help a poor birder!

Ani seems to be moving back downstream (west).  It was just calling from under the Westerly Creek Bridge on the south side.  It then appeared in the thickets on the west side of the bridge where it called for a bit, then disappeared into the foliage.  Thanks to all for the continued updates.  Kudos, to Jason for finding it.

Westerly Creek bridge can be accessed from the corner of Boston Street and 37th Ave. From that corner you can see the bridge below. When I left an hour ago, the bird was in the cottonwood on the right just before you reach the bridge.

Is the bird being seen this morning?  If so, please give some directions and where to park. It would be very helpful.

Thank you,

Carol Sullivan

I saw it, with another birder, at 9am from the south side of Sand Creek down a short trail from Alton and 37th. I posted on ebird.
It was sunning itself and preening in a leafless tree (with red bark) on the island in the creek.
I had almost given up after searching for 45 min. The heavy equipment at the bridge perhaps prompted it to move west.
