Sabine’s gulls, Valmont, Boulder County

Just counted at least 8 Sabine’s gulls from Legion Park (Valmont Overlook) in Boulder. They were pretty much on the opposite side of the water, so a scope was really useful. 

We checked Baseline Reservoir in Boulder, which is also usually a good spot for Sabine’s when they come through in the fall. A beach and waterskiing party had the birds being quiet there.
