Hello,

While kayaking the flooded forest of Plum Creek, in Chatfield State Park today, I found two singing Red-Eyed Vireos. The first was on the northeast corner of the Plum Creek Picnic Area, and the other was about 200 meters northeast of that in the forest. You could probably hear them singing if you walked up to the water's edge. 

Interesting how many birds are still very abundant even where the water completely covers the understory. I found a nesting pair of House Wrens. I didn't find any Chats or Towhees over the deep water, as I expected. I did not find any Song Sparrows...
